WORKSTUDY/INTERNSHIP
FALL MARKETING INTERN
We are currently seeking a Marketing Intern for Fall 2010 for 15-20 hours a week.
Internship Summary:
Marketing & Communications Internship
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator would be responsible for helping to develop and implement a broad and strategic marketing and communications initiative that will serve to advance BTI Dance Institute’s mission, vision, and goals. The Marketing & Communications Intern will help to oversee the myriad of types of communication that occur between our organization and our donors, patrons, and students, thus strengthening those relationships. Continued communication with the community at large ensures that the public is aware of the multitude of our activities, growing the reach and impact of BTI Dance Institute in our community. The creative use of online communications and technology strategies, including our website, social media, blog, and other web presences help maintain relationships, identify new audiences, and innovate new forms of participation and engagement with our organization without abandoning more traditional forms of communication.
Internships are not paid; however, interns may take advantage of unlimited free dance classes at BTI Dance Institute studio.

DEVELOPMENT INTERN
We are currently seeking a Development Intern for Fall 2010 for 15-20 hours a week.
BTI Dance Institute seeks an experienced Development Intern to provide leadership, strategic direction, management, and coordination of all fundraising efforts. The Intern will assist the director and BTI staff in creating fundraising strategies that increase the organization's support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other sources.
The Development Intern plays a key role in identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major donors for annual gifts, and will work in close collaboration with the Executive Director and Board Members to achieve the fundraising goals of the organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• developing and implementing a fundraising plan
• writing and tracking grant proposals
• maintaining and enhancing the annual donor program
• establishing and maintaining strong donor relations
• researching and identifying new funding opportunities (corporate, foundation and individual)
• developing and maintaining close working relationships with the philanthropic community, individual and corporate donors, sponsors, board members, and volunteers
• assisting with marketing activities

REGULAR WORK STUDY
BTI Dance Institute is currently seeking workstudy applicants for our dance studio locations. Regular workstudy are required to work up to a 5 hour shift per week and must be committed individuals willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Training will be provided. Basic computer skills and customer service skills required. Workstudy are eligible to take free adult dance classes at BTI Dance Institute studio. Click here to download the application.
